Transparency film (1975)

Finally, the invention that can facilitate the use of our modern day overhead projector. Until now whenever you attempted to copy a transparency it would melt right before your eyes. Not anymore! Now you can simply transfer anything on a sheet of paper to the new transparency sheets that can survive the heat of a photocopier.

The overhead was invented in the mid-forties and was originally used by the police, schools, and bowling alleys. Unfortunately, the overhead has not broken into the corporate word yet because hand writing is not formal enough to project on a wall during a board meeting. But now you can use your word processor to create any document you desire and easily photocopy it to a durably transparency. In the current year (1975) only fifty thousand overhead projectors were sold in America. However, with this newfound technology the overhead projector will become the tool of the future in the environment of visual aids.

The once standard 35-mm slide show will easily be all but eliminated. The slide show requires graphics professionals and is often difficult to operate. However, the overhead projector along with it’s durable transparencies is fairly cheap and simple. The option is clear. With the aid of the new newfound durable transparency the overhead projector will be the tool of the future in meeting, presentation, and lectures.
