Staff writer (AP)- There is a new light in the sky of the rapidly developing world of
technology. Wordstar, developed by Seymour Rubenstein and Rob Barnaby, has become the
most successful selling word processor. There have been previous word processors such
as the Electric Pencil in 1976, which was the first processor to be developed by
Michael Shrayer. Originally developed for the IMSAI 8080, by 1981 Wordstar would be re-written for
the MicroSoft-DOS operating system.
