1990 - PowerPoint for Windows launched

June, 2020 - VowerLife first used in classroom

When it comes to presentations, first in line are the old-fashioned conversations, then, thanks to the police and bowling alleys, the use of overhead projectors became readily available for presenting material to large amounts of people. Now, the 90s is bringing about presentation slides through computer software. This program is able to take boring content and put it into powerfully impacting slides, which can then be displayed from a computer to a projected screen.

Teachers all over are standing in line to get this new found educational technology so they can implement it in their classrooms. However, some educational theorists are concerned about the use of PowerPoint overtaking the educator's material. Computer scientists are currently working on the next upgrade, which will feature "Auto-Content" -- a feature that will organize information for the presenter with the click of a button.

Some say the use of moving graphics, sound and bullet points will help presenters display their content more effectively, while others are concerned that education or presentation will begin to be homogenized into lists of bullets. Needless to say, the PowerPoint revolution has begun and soon it will impact everyone's life.

A new presentational technology is being tested in high school classrooms at the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The new program called VowerLife is a development with rootings in the traditional PowerPoint presentation.

VowerLife is a virtual reality technology that creates VR life to present essential content. Say you're looking to propose the newest marketing programs to your boss. Why should you stand up there when you can create the ideal clean-cut virtual guy with the perfect mannerisms and without the jittery moves. Your presentation will be sold without the stress of presenting.

Teachers are being introduced with this technology first to see if they can implement it into the classroom. The technology allows the presenter to choose a cliphuman from the database or create your own human from scratch. You can even digitally scan your own body image into the program and alter it as you wish - it's virtual plastic surgery!

Special projectors come with the program to allow the Virtual Reality to be displayed in any room without the use of those ancient red and blue 3-D glasses. You can even have the presenter standing on top of the board room table while being only three feet tall.

With this new technology, teachers and presenters everywhere won't bear the sweat and pain involved in facing a crowd of people. Instead they just design the virtual human to do the dirty work for them.
