2058, Electrolarnynx technology reformatted to translate English to Spanish.
The folks at Merriam-Webster, working with a team of bio-material engineers from MIT, have developed a new device that imparts Spanish fluency to English speakers in a matter of seconds. This unprecedented technology, nicknamed "Fluencia" works in the same way as a traditional electrolarynx, but is reformatted to not only amplify the vibrations of the vocal chords into audible words, but also translate them into Spanish. With the aid of Fluencia, someone with little or no Spanish background will be able to speak fluent Spanish.
