2035- Station to Donate Arms to Smithsonian

ANNOUNCEMENT: More than two decades after its scheduled lifetime, the International Space Station is donating its robotic arms to the National Smithsonian, who will use the robotics parts as the basis for its new Science & Technology Tour. The tour schedule includes at least one high school in every school district in the United States. Freshman high school students on the east coast can expect to view the first piece of equipment before their graduation. The crew of Shuttle mission STS-205 will retrieve the Japanese arm first, followed by a retrieval of the Candaian SSRMS in Fall of 2038.
