The first devices using the new cerebral interfaces released.
The first integrated eyepiece, Monocle IV was released. This portable
device allows for voice and text communications while providing access to
the Internet. The user would wear the device like headphones, but with
an addition of a eyepiece of the left eye. The eyepiece is a small
screen that allows for a person to see information. But what makes
this device revolutionary is it is the first commercial use for the new cerebral
interface technology. The cerebral interface allows the user to interact
with device by just having the user think what they want to do. The
cerebral interface technology had been only been used in military use for
the past ten years. Only recently has it been allowed to be used in
commercial technology. The new eyepiece, Monocle IV is an improvement
of the past devices since the past devices had a voice interface. This
is just one of the first integration of the cerebral interfaces. More
are expected to follow.
