PAPA CREATES TOTALLY EFFECTIVE FILTERS

August 2095: Redmond, Washington

The radical group, once known as the Parent-Teachers Association (PTA), now called PAPA, Populace Against Pornography Advocates, has reaped a benefit from its multi-million dollar project to develop computer filters designed to completely block out all inappropriate sites for children. According to the new CEO of Microsoft, Jerry Falwell, III, production has all ready begun on PAPA CARES, the software product that will protect all public school children from pornography and other violations of national standards.

In 2005, the teachers union voted to pull out of the PTA after the leader of what is now called PAPA, Chelsea Clinton, led the charge to pass law supporting mandatory filtering in all schools and public libraries. Clinton, whose ex-presidential father still opposes such laws, then organized PAPA. She convinced Falwell to leave his father’s failing ministry and take over Microsoft, still the leading software manufacturer. Together, they raised well over $100 million dollars and devoted the entire sum to the development of filtering software.

“This is a proud day for all of us,” Clinton is quoted. “No longer will our children be subject to the readings of Mark Twain, Maya Angelou, Octavia Butler, Shakespeare or Thoreau.” Clinton and Falwell plan a major celebration when the first software package is put online at a local school.

The independent teachers union, headed by Steve Jobss, is planning to expand its efforts supporting home schooling in the United States. When asked if this is in direct opposition to the law, Job replied, “Duh!” According to a recent survey, approximately 85% of all children under the age of 16 years are being home schooled, a procedure in direct violation of the revised public school act of 2006. It is unclear at this time whether Clinton will urge the Attorney General to pursue prosecution of Job and his home school supporters.
