| A
thousand years from now, sponsors of literacy will have changed
dramatically (even the way we communicate while traveling). The traffic
light soon became obselete when cars and other modes of transportation
that required the ground disappeared. People now travel around in tubing
and flying vehicles similiar to the Jetsons.

Meet George Jetson His boy Elroy, Daughter Judy Jane his wife The Jetsons the family of the future What if we traveled like them? |
| After the car faded away there were two primary ways to travel.
1.) In a tube from place to place without a vehicle for short
distances. 2.) In a flying vehicle for longer distances.
When traveling by the first option people would carry a small device in their hand or on their person that had three small buttons. Each button was a different color red, yellow and green and had similiar functions to the colors of the traffic light. When the inidividual pressed the yellow button their body would slow down in the tube, green speed up and red stop. For the second option (flying vehicles) a larger device was required. At four-way intersections of high volume traffic there was a constant light that alternated between red, yellow and green. Yes, simply a cube of light that balanced in the air and changed colors. Hey, it's the future so it can happen.
