Electronic Edition

If you intend to submit a critical essay, DO NOT submit this form. Instead, follow this link to the form for Assignment 5: Critical Analysis.

Don't forget: you will also need to submit the URL for the electronic edition here no later than midnight on the day the assignment is due.

As an alternative to the critical essay, you may choose to do an electronic edition for the fifth assignment. To make this choice, you will need to ascertain that your book a) does not already exist in electronic form, and b) is out of copyright. If the answer to a) is no, and the answer to b) is yes, you will need to:

• scan or type in the text of the work

• proofread the text so produced against the original

• format the text in accordance with the guidelines and practices of the Electronic Text Center.

• scan any illustrations in accordance with the guidelines and practices of the Electronic Text Center.

If you think your work meets the criteria for this alternate assignment, and if you think you'd like to explore this possibility, please consult with me at your earliest convenience, and I will discuss with you the work involved, the tools and assistance available, and the criteria by which success or failure will be judged.
